NEF 50 Title Fight: Jon "War Hawk" Piersma is ready for this championship opportunity

NEF 50 is coming to Portland Maine on Saturday November 12, 2022. NEF has long been one of the best promotions in the area and holding a NEF title is a dream to a lot of local fighters. At NEF 50 long time NEF Veteran with over 20 fights in the promotion; Ryan Sanders takes on New York's Jon Piersma. 

Jon "War Hawk" Piersma is coming off of a huge Round 1 victory where he was able to finish the fight in under 2 minutes with a submission at CFFC 111. He did that to an opponent who was on a 2 fight win streak and hopes to end another win streak this time out. Piersma also stayed busy securing a victory at Fury Pro Grappling 5. Now it's time to head to Maine and get back into the cage!

Ryan Sanders is coming into this championship with a huge amount of momentum a well. Riding a 5 fight win streak with all of them coming by finish, there no lack of confidence in him. Sanders has amassed 20 fights in the NEF cage and with a winning record in the NEF cage, he's proved he has what it takes to be Champion. Only losing 1 fight since 2016, and most of his victories coming in the first round, Sanders always bring the ferocity to every fight!
