Breaking News: In a stunning change of events; former UFC fighter and CES MMA Middleweight contender Eric Spicely (12-8) has been forced to withdraw from his Middleweight Title fight with Justin Sumter (8-4) this Friday night at CES 67. Stepping in on just a week's notice; newly minted CES Welterweight World Champion Billy Goff (6-2). Goff will be making the 4 week turn around after capturing his CES Welterweight title with a one sided drubbing of Gary "Batman" Balletto Jr. (7-3) at CES 66, March 4th. Goff looks to parlay his recent successes into three consecutive gold belts after knocking out Marty Navis (5-1) in November of last year to capture the Cage Titans Welterweight title.
The 23 year old Goff who has never shied away from top competition and will once again take on the toughest challenge of his career Friday night from Hartford, Connecticut when he makes the step up to 185 pounds against Justin "The Fort" Sumter for the CES Middleweight crown. Sumter is a well rounded martial artist on the cusp of the next level, as is Billy Goff, who is looking to get back in his groove after dropping 3 of his last 5 bouts. Sumter will be looking to put together back to back wins against quality opposition inside the CES cage and live on UFC Fightpass. CES 67 comes to you live this Friday night April 1st from the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
